The actor who came into the limelight as Satish of Ekta Kapoor’s Pavitra Rishta had been signed on to essay the son-in-law of the Bhalla family long back. But the actor had to silently sit and watch the fun till the story line needed his entry.

And now, the time has come when he will be seen on screen!! Yes, the track will focus on him wherein it will be revealed that Simmi (Raman’s sister) and her husband Parmeet (essayed by Anurag) will be going through some financial crisis.

As per the ongoing track, Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) happened to bump into Simmi (Shireen Mirza) while the entire family was assuming that Simmi’s in Dubai with her husband. Later, Ishita noticed Simmi’s name in the mobile store’s register when the former had gone to get her mobile phone repaired. Ishita even tried to talk to Mrs. Bhalla about the same, but the elder lady did not hear to Ishita’s concerning words.

Soon, Ishita will spot Simmi with her husband Parmeet. She will also follow them to the hotel where they would be staying in. Ishita will question them as to why they are living in the same city without the knowledge of their family.

When contacted, Anurag Sharma told us, “Yes, my wait is over. I will be seen in Ye Hai Mohabbatein, playing Simmi’s husband. I have waited for a long time for this role to happen. I am excited to be seen on the show.”

Anurag also played the role of Maharana Pratap in Balaji’s Jodha Akbar on Zee TV. For the uninitiated, the actor was cast in Ye Hai Mohabbatein at the time when Cezanne Khan and Divyanka Tripathi were initially cast. Later, Cezanne was replaced by Karan Patel.

Anurag, hope the wait proves to be fruitful and you have a meaty role on the show!!
