An arrest warrant has been issued for Bobby Eaton after he failed to appear in court on ten-year-old charges of DUI. The warrant was issued in Hollywood, Alabama and is part of a movement by the county to get caught up on their old warrants and show that eventually those who do not show up for court will be caught. The following is an article from 48 News (

JACKSON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - Police in Hollywood want to find some people who were arrested but failed to make their court appearance. Some of the cases go back decades.

Hollywood Police Chief Jason Hepler said many of those were arrested for driving under the influence, and most notable is a semi-retired professional wrestler.

Hepler said John Wallace Phillips was shocked when he was picked up this week on warrants taken out in 1986 after he failed to show for a DUI charge and possession of an alcoholic beverage in a dry county, but Hepler is still looking for more people.

In the 1980's, 70-year-old Arthur Fred Taylor of Blountsville and 56-year-old Kenneth Ray of McCalla both failed to show on DUI charges.

In the 1990's, 56-year-old Jamie Travis Collins of Dutton failed to show for a driving while license suspended charge in 1995 and 49-year-old Kevin Author Christian of Anniston failed to appear on a driving while license suspended and improper passing in 1997.

But then just over a decade ago, 54-year-old Bobby Lee Eaton of Cherry Valley, Arkansas, better known as Beautiful Bobby of World Championship Wrestling fame, failed to appear in 2002 on a DUI charge.

"The goal of all this is to serve the warrants from the 80's and to let everybody know that just because your warrant is old, it doesn't mean that it is nonexistent. You might have rode it out this long, but it stops here," said Hepler. "We're going to come for you and get you; it doesn't matter what we have to do. We are going to serve these warrants."

Hepler urges these people to turn themselves in.

If anyone has any information about their whereabouts, contact the Hollywood Police Department.
