    2 question's about the undertaker!!

OK, here it is, first let me elaborate. Back in 1990 at the survivor series the Undertaker debuted as the Million dollar man's mystery partner for their survivor series match. Now I remember when he walked to the ring very slowly with his manager Brother Love the fans looked as if they weren't to sure about this character and if you look at the match some of the fans even looked kinda freaked out about him so from what i saw the Undertaker wasn't really too well accepted in that match because i noticed when he came out it got REALLY quiet. now the reason I have elaborated on this is there is another wrestler who's gimmick could have and should have gotten over just as big as the Undertaker's and that man was MORDECIA, now the reason he never got over was they never gave that gimmick enough time to catch on with the fans because they pulled the plug on that gimmick far to fast, now maybe, just maybe they did that for the fear that the MORDECAI gimmick may have watered-down the undertakers gimmick because maybe they felt it was too similar to the Undertakers gimmick!! Now If the undertaker were to debut in the WWE today in 2012 would he still have became as big of a star as he did back when he debuted in 1990 at the survivor series?? also could any other wrestler have gotten the Undertaker gimmick over as well as Mark Calaway did?? imagine for a second... big show, Kane, kevin nash, crimson, matt morgan!!! could any of those guys pulled it off?? makes ya wonder don't it??

    Your Thoughts !!!!!

Kane could and in a way has gotten fairly close to Undertaker's persona. If Undertaker is the uncaring, soulless 'Deadman' Kane is the reflection of Undertaker's repressed rage and anger. His inner demon so to speak. And as to could anyone else have pulled it off? Not as well. 'Taker LIVES his persona, watch any interview where he's interviewed as Undertaker and he never refers to himself as Mark, it's always 'Taker or 'The Undertaker'. As to the other dude, Mordecai, I have no idea who he is so I wouldn't know As far as if he debuted today would his gimmick go down? I don't think so. Today's roster is alot less 'gimmicky' to a point than when Undertaker debuted. When 'Taker debuted you had dudes like Warrior, Bret, Jake the Snake, and all those characters. Nowadays people are more personalities than characters. So a whole character of an undead zombie under the control of a high-pitched, fat, mortician/necromancer would bomb in todays WWE. Ironic huh?

I think it's harder to survive in Wwe now than it was in 1990's so definetely Taker and many others might not be that sucessful if they debuted in 2012.

As far as if I think any one could carry the Deadman gimmick better than him then the answer is no. Some like Nash Abyss could have carried it good but not better than Taker.
