ECW Fan Cam 1999-08-14 Toledo, OH 2 DVD

This is an original RF Video Fan Cam of ECW's first TNN TV taping at the Seagate Center in Toledo, OH on Saturday, August 14, 1999.

This would-be pilot TV taping was ultimately scrapped in favor of a best-of show on TNN followed by the 8/26/1999 Queens TV taping. Some of the matches at this show appeared on ECW Hardcore TV. I was present at the Toledo show, was front row by the aisle. Was great to see the TNN set for the first time, and some of the matches were damn good, but the show was brought down by a crowd full of comped admissions, many of whom didn't even seem to care about the show beyond getting their dumb signs on television. The mood at the show seemed tentative with the TNN cameras rolling for the first time. Paul E is on record as hating this TV taping. The Queens TV taping 12 days later was downright explosive by comparison, and I will be uploading that Fan Cam soon.

This is directly from the LP mode Fan Cam VHS tape purchased from RF Video in 1999, not a dub. There is a tracking line at the bottom of the tape, which is how the tape looked when I received it...RF's videos weren't duplicated with pro equipment, at least back then...Fan Cams were hit and miss with video quality, depending on which VCR they used. I used the tracking control to make it as nonintrusive as possible. There is a 30 second overlap at the split to ensure the entire show was preserved without a break.
