It's another wasted opportunity for Salman's younger brother !!!

If there were ever a delayed films club in Bollywood, Salman Khan's brothers would be the hot favourite to head it. This week the junior Khan in question is Sohail. Unfortunately when left solo, this witty actor can't seem to take control of the proceedings. And this eventually reflects in the fate of his films. His new release Team-The Force is also a dated project that seems to have been stuck in the cans forever. And as the scene has been in the past few weeks, the makers have taken advantage of the multiplex strike to at least give the movie a decent release.

The supposed action comedy is about three strugglers who take on a local don by kidnapping his sister. Having watched several delayed movies in the recent months, one discovers that there is a certain pattern to all of them. Most of them are abound with technical glitches. So it's futile bothering over continuity jumps and editing inconsistencies. Instead it is better to actually just sit back and give the doomed movie a chance.

So while everything from the performances to the music to the styling is a lesson in clichs, Team-The Force actually has a couple of hilarious moments. And surprisingly they are provided by the villain - whose sarcastic character turns out to be the most watchable part in the film. Barring this it's the item numbers by Aarti Chabria and Amrita Arora that provide some relief to the eyes. Sohail, Yash Tonk and Vrajesh Hirjee display different forms of over-acting.

Team-The Force is directed by a man named Ajay Chandok. A quick online search reveals that he is a master of delayed projects. Some of his films include Nehle Pe Dehla, Khalballi and Kisse Pyaar Karoon. Being David Dhawan's former assistant, he has taken to his mentor's habit of working on multiple projects simultaneously - but hasn't picked up the master's speed.

Verdict :Team-The Force is another wasted opportunity for Sohail Khan. Watch it only if you want to see how he looked in his younger days.
