Salman Khan to auction his art creations for his forthcoming 'Veer'
From being just a ''closet painter'', this Bollywood heartthrob is all set to make his transition towards becoming an accomplished artist earning admiration of fans for his works of art.
Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan is all set to exhibit to cinegoers his new passion for painting by auctioning some of the works of art done by him during the making of Anil Sharma's 'Veer'.
Sources close to Salman reveal that the heartthrob of millions across the country would take some time out on the sets of 'Veer' to settle down with canvas and brush to indulge in his passion for painting.
''After wrapping up a shot or sometimes even in between, Salman bhai would just get inspired and rush to his canvas and paint. He has completed at least 4-5 paintings,'' the sources added.
They said the paintings are so beautiful that Salman Khan is being encouraged to auction it for a good cause.
Further, the Bollywood heartthrob has even helped the art director of 'Veer' paint bits and portions required on the sets keeping his 'Daan-Veer' image true.
The producer of the film, Vijay Galani said, ''Yes, I have seen Salman painting with his fingers and he also helped us lot even in painting the sets of 'Veer'.
He's very fast and finishes them within a few hours.'' Slated for release on January 22, 'Veer', produced by Eros International and Vijay Galani, is the story of extreme valour, fierce pride and poignant love of this warrior Veer from the brave Pindari tribe.
As the British enslave India with their devious Divide and Rule policy, kings and nawabs fall to their guile and cunning, and entrust their precious kingdom to the foreigners.
Except for the brave Pindaris, who prefer death to dishonour and will fight to their last breath to save their land..their mother.
The bravest, the toughest, the strongest of the Pindaris is Veer. As Veer takes on the might of the British Empire, he also has to fight the conniving King of Madavgarh as well his own jealous tribesmen.
At stake is his love for princess Yashodhara, daughter of his sworn enemy as also his thirst to avenge his father's dishonour and his very existence itself.
Cannons roar, swords clash in fierce battle, the dead pile up..and when the dust settles down on the blood soaked land, one valiant warrior stands head and shoulders above them all and thats Veer!
