"Got Talent is to present your skills and abilities internationally" - Raj Nayak
CEO of the leading channel Colors Raj Nayak talks about the show Got Talent World Stage Live and the host of the show Shah Rukh Khan.
As the leading channel Colors is riding high with its shows and concept of the show, the channel is all set to recognize the talent of the people not only nationally but also internationally. While reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa Season 7, Khatron Ke Khiladi, India's Got Talent and more have given a platform for many people, another show which will aim at showcasing the talent to the world is Got Talent World Stage Live.
The CEO of Colors Raj Nayak talks about the show in detail and how different is it going to be in conversation with us.
He says, "Like India's Got Talent, we are introducing World's Got Talent where people can showcase their talent and bring the talent to India. We are scaling it up globally. The channel has thought of reinventing something fresh this time with this show."
This show is first of its kind which will go internationally. Talking about the same Raj says, "Got Talent will be about East meeting West. It is an opportunity to present your skills and abilities in front of the entire world. Like Indian talent is being shown to the Indian audiences, in a similar way there should be some platform open for global talent as well. To illustrate it, Akshat Singh the winner of India's Got Talent Season 5, got a chance to make his presence on the highly esteemed international show The Ellen DeGeneres. So it's a matter of opportunities."
Ask him about the Face of the show Shah Rukh Khan and he says, "For us SRK is the Face of Got Talent show. We had to identify a show which would match up to SRK's stature. We were in talks with SRK from past 2 years and now he has been finalized as the host of the show. Also to make things work we were waiting for the right opportunity and wanted to bring best on stage. The world will be able to see the best of all."
