While she is a newcomer in the Hindi industry but this pretty looking actress is all set the gain accolades for her performance from the audience through this show.

Rupali shares her excitement to play a challenging role, her experience of working with famous stars Tanaaz Currim Irani, Bakhtiyaar Irani, Sumeet Raghavan and Hats Off productions and more...

Here is Rupali answering the questions -

How did you start your career, share your experience with us?

I started acting in the year 2000 by doing Marathi theater. Gradually I accepted offers for Marathi movies and shows. I did many plays because it gives you a different experience all together, it enriches your acting skills so I didn't jump directly into serials. Theater is a base, if you are from theater background then it becomes easy for you to work anywhere.

Will you be able to work in Hindi serials as efficiently as you worked in Marathi daily soaps?

I don't think it would be difficult because I have given an audition for the show Badi Door Se Aaye Hain. It is my second audition with Hats off production. I gave my first audition for their serials Behenein. I signed the contract but I was not able to work because I was already working in the Marathi serial on Star Pravah as Mann Udhaan Varyache which was a big hit , so when I got the call for second time from Hats Off, I was very sure to do it. I immediately went for the auditions. I will never forget that day because it was my brother's birthday and we all went for celebration in a restaurant so there I got a call for auditions and I rushed to give the same. I did not not come across problems because my team is very polite and humble. They make me feel comfortable and homely right from the co stars to the production members chahe fir woh Aatish Kapadiaji ho ya J D Majethia sir.

How is your tuning with the co stars?

They all are very good. With Sumeet, Tanaaz and Bhaktiyaar I am interacting with them for the first time but they never made me realize that I am a junior to them. They all are very down to earth people and they don't show tantrums.

Share your excitement for this unique and challenging role?

This character is very unique ye pagal panti wala character hai. I belong to an alien family. We start living with human beings and try to learn their way of living, emotions. At the same time I am mad, emotional and matured too so when JD sir approached me for mother's role I told him that I don't think I will look like a mother of 2 children but when he explained me about my character, I thought nothing can be better than this character. This is something very unique I am going to do and I am very excited to do this.

Do you think your character will be able to live up to the audiences expectation?

I will give my best and I hope that I never disappoint my audience. The audience itself sets a level for you, if at some point of time your performance fails to impress them they revert to you, they criticize you. I am one actress who is always eager to receive audiences reviews, today what I am and where I stand is all because of them so I will never forget them. If I am told to give thousand autographs I will do it, I won't get irritated. They always expect from you, before they have seen me in Marathi serials now they want to know how better I can do in Hindi Television.

Initially you started with theater then Marathi serials later movies and now you have eventually acting in Hindi Television, don't you think your popularity is increasing step by step ?

Any actor steps in this industry to be popular. Their fame matters a lot but I believe no matter how popular one becomes one should always remain down to earth because at the end of the day your nature and behavior is what makes you special.

Is this your first comedy show ?

As I told you before, I have done many plays which were comedy based, I did one Marathi comedy show Shejari Shejari Pakke Shejari on Zee Marathi, so this is my second comedy show.
