Harsh Rajput and Nida Chakraborty to feature in Yeh Hai Aashiqui
The second story of the four-week long ‘Disaster Mini Series’ on Disney Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui will depict a love tale set in the backdrop of the Gujarat riots.
Young lad Harsh Rajput, who was earlier seen in Channel V’s Crazy Stupid Ishq will play the central character, and the girl opposite him will be Nida Chakraborty, who essayed the role of Vasundhara in Ek Boond Ishq.
Yeh Hai Aashiqui is presently being produced by BBC Worldwide Productions.
Harsh will play a rich guy named Ayush, who has all sorts of phobias in life. The guy would be a bit weak owing to his asthmatic nature. The plot of the love story will kick-start at the railway station, wherein Ayush and Prakriti will meet exactly at the time when riots will break out in the vicinity. Stranded at the railway station, Ayush and Prakriti will go through a lot of intense situations before they would fall in love.
This particular love tale will be a very intense one, considering the fact that it will happen at a time when lives are in danger owing to the riots around.
Another interesting aspect related to this story is that ace director Nissar Parvez has directed this episode. Palkhi Malhotra, the Creative Producer on board for Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Nissar’s association dates back to the days of the hit show Dill Mill Gayye. The episode will be a visual treat, given the manner in which it has been shot.
When contacted, Harsh told us, “It is a very intense love tale and the story is very gripping. This is the first time ever that I have got a chance to be part of a love tale.”
Nida who has done quite a lot of episodics said, “It was a nice experience shooting for Yeh Hai Aashiqui. I play a girl named Prakriti who has never made any decisions for herself in life. She always has the habit of running away from situations. In the story she gets trapped in a railway station after having run away from her family. This is when she meets the boy amidst the riots.”
This story on the Disaster Mini Series will air on 22 June.
