Default Daniel Bryan to Nix Diving Headbutt from His Moveset?

We noted before that there was talk that Daniel Bryan should tone down his in-ring style as his recent neck surgery could be the first of many long-term problems. One of the moves recommended for him to drop is the diving headbutt.

Regarding the headbutt, Chris Benoit, who had a more serious neck surgery, was advised to give up the move but he continued to perform it and said that when he could no longer do it, that's when he would probably want to retire. WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race used a similar version of the move regularly but has recommended that people not to it because the unnatural way of landing is brutal on the neck.

Surely that would make it worse? Incorrect landing has got to be more dangerous than the correct one? Or is that too logical.

Its probably a good idea. No reason for him not to do a different move from the top rope

If that's the idea he better not wrestle at all, but back to the point it's not an incorrect landing, the intention isn't to make contact in the first place... if he's cleared to wrestle then he's cleared to do the diving 'headbutt' unless this is some dumb Kayfabe angle

Even if it connects as intended, think again the IMPACT on the body. They are humans just like us, they have training ofcourse but human body can take so much.

Which going back to my point if that's the case he's better not wrestle at all, think of the impact on his body with any of his moves
