    Default WWE Referee Suffers Freak Injury at Live Event In Saudi Arabia

    - WWE referee Charles Robinson nearly lost his thumb while setting up the ring for Friday's WWE live event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

    Robinson reportedly sliced his thumb so badly that he nearly lost it. WWE's Dr. Chris Amann, who was on the tour, was able to stitch it up.

    Yup, they are part of the ring crew. Do you think their only job is to referee for an avg of 30 mins a day for 5 days a week?

    yes, of course. the wrestlers only have to wrestle 15-20 mins each show too. When a Referee does 3 Matches he "works" longer than a Wrestler. So why not?

    Wrestlers do a LOT of promotional and charity appearances too not just wrestle for TV and house shows. And then there are creative meetings and stuff going backstage including training, merchandise ideas / photo shoots etc..

    Training = Free time. I dont think they are that much involved in merchandise Ideas and the Charity stuff is definitly not job stuff thats something they do because they want to. but despite that all this stuff has nothing to do with why the Referees have to set up the ring.

    To be honest I dont care anyway
