Savdhan India rolls out a 2 hour telefilm, casts Tarun Khanna, Ankur Nayyar, Mamik Singh and Neetha
Life OK’s Savdhan India, more popular for presenting rustic stories, will now venture into a beautifully crafted intense dramatic telefilm as a part of its show. Produced by Jagannath Films, the maker has roped in talented actors Tarun Khanna, Ankur Nayyar, Mamik Singh and Neetha Shetty for its 2 hour special episode.
The story will portray Ankur Nayyar as the protagonist Adhiraj, a soft spoken US return man (after 18 years) whose sole aim will be to find his dead parent’s culprit. Supporting cast to him will be essayed by Devraj essayed by Tarun Khanna as the lawyer, Bhanu Uday/Kaka essayed by Mamik and the witch/dain essayed by Neetha Shetty.
The episodic has been shot in Rewa Palace in Allahabad.
All the characters have been crafted differently and have pivotal roles in the show. The story will get complex with the point of view of the crime presented by Devraj, Bhanu Uday and Adhiraj. It will end up having the witch as the ace as she will give out important clues to the incident.
We contacted Ankur Nayyar who confirmed doing the show. He stated, “It was a great experience shooting with the cast and crew of the production house. I essay a character that is soft spoken and the concept is no less interesting than what one would get to see in a film. The interesting part is that I got to live a very interesting character for those 10 days and I am very delighted to have received this opportunity.”
Tarun Khanna added saying, “Well, I got a chance to connect Ankur, who is a very good friend of mine and also met amazing people like Neetha and Mamik. I can say that I have made these friends for life. Earlier I was a little apprehensive to take up the show as I have essayed characters which are more glamorous and not pastoral. But then when I heard how the story was so distinguished, I agreed to it. This is the first time I have shot for Savdhan and we had a lot of fun shooting for the show.”
We tried contacting Mamik Singh and Neetha Shetty but they remained unavailable for comment.
We excitedly wait for the high intense mystery to unfold on 27 April!!!
