The cool and smart looking Arjit Taneja made his television debut with Channel Vís The Serial in which he played the best friend of Karan Kundra. The actor was also fortunate enough to be paired opposite the very gorgeous looking Pooja Gor in the same.
While the actor promises to keep us entertained in Zee TVís upcoming presentation Kumkum Bhagya, he shares some interesting tips on how he manages to stay so robust and healthy for our Lifestyle section. Karan Chhabra as the guest editor spoke to him.
Personal fitness mantra?
I make sure that I stay away from sweets.
Personal diet mantra?
I usually have a heavy breakfast of wheat bread with eggs and dalia. For lunch, I like to have some boiled chicken with dal and chapatti added with a protein shake.
Are you a foodie?
I am a complete foodie but because I have to keep a check on my diet, have quit eating certain eatables.
I workout for 5 days in a week; work out for 2 hours for my entire body and then go in for cardio exercises.
Are you a vegetarian or a non-veg?
I am a hardcore non-vegetarian.
I love Italian food.
I love having Indian dish and butter chicken but unfortunately I cannot have it because I have to keep myself healthy and fit.
A must on your breakfast table?
Boiled eggs are a must on my breakfast table.
Sugar or sugar-free tea/coffee?
Sugar is not a problem; I prefer having tea.
Lunch generally consists of?
As I mentioned earlier, my lunch consists of vegetable and chapatti along with the usual routine diet.
Dinner generally consists of?
My dinner is the same as my lunch.
I love having chocolates.
My favourite drink (non-alcoholic)?

I do not consume alcohol.
Most unusual dish I have tasted?
I have tried this authentic Javanese cuisine in Indonesia; it was very unusual.
Experiment with food?
No. I do not experiment with food.
On the streets I love to have?
I am on a strict diet regime.
Do you cook?
I can cook Maggie.
I would advise people to eat well and workout for at least 3 days in a week. Diet is important as it is responsible for 80 per cent of your health.
