Vivek Oberoi has sorted out his differences with Ram Gopal Varma and will be seen in an RGV film after seven years.

The film Raktha Charitra will have Vivek playing a real-life character of the slain controversial politician from Andhra Pradesh, Paritala Ravi.
The last time the duo worked together was in Company. Vivek says he had been dying to work with Ramu again since then.

"It is so good to be working with him again. I really don't care what has been written about our relationship. We are back together for a project we deeply believe in and that's what matters. I'm happy that Ramu wanted me to play this intense and challenging role," Vivek says.

And what exactly attracted him to the film -- was it the role or the temptation to work with Ramu?

"It was both actually. I just love the way Ramu thinks about his movie and how he goes about making his film. His passion rubs off on everyone. And the role is as dark as it can get. The character is so passionate about what he does that it gave me goose-bumps when I read the script and immediately said yes. I have to go through hell to prepare myself and pull this one off but I'm ready to do that," he says.

There has been news that Ramu had received death threats when he announced this film because Paritala's life has been shrouded by controversy and accusations. We quizzed Vivek if he too got threatening calls? "Nothing as of now! I have heard about Ramu's case but we are not afraid. We are going ahead with the project. It is a magnificent story," he ends.

    Who is Paritala Ravi?
Paritala Ravi, a four-time MLA, was assassinated in 2005 by his political rivals. He was known to be close to the Naxals. Criminal cases against him include those that allege him to be behind 10 Congress men going missing.
