After travelling the world over, Bollywood is now plunging into the deep blue sea for the forthcoming action-packed thriller Blue.

In the movie Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Lara Dutta, Zayed Khan, Katrina Kaif and Rahul Dev will be seen swimming, diving and escaping predatory sharks.

Akshay's character is called Aarav, that also happens to be the name of the actor's son in real life.

Zayed Khan will also make an attempt to ressurect his sunken Bollywood career as he accompanies Akki and Sanjay Dutt in their treasure hunt.

Sanjay Dutt plays the role of a fisherman, who also happens to be Akshay's friend.

Since the shooting involved a lot of underwater action, all the actors in the movie have undergone prodfessional scuba diving training.

Adding to the oomph factor is Lara Dutta. She has reportedly worked hard for her new lean frame.

Lara makes the best of her newly toned body by flaunting it in a bikini.

Blue will also be a treat for the ears, as it is the maestro AR Rahman who has composed the music for the film.

International pop star Kylie Minogue will also sing for the film and would feature in a promotional video.

The film has been shot in locations the world over from Nassau and Paradise Island in the Bahama to Thailand and Hong Kong.

Daredevil Akshay Kumar reportedly survived a near death accident while shooting for the film.

While shooting for a scene underwater, Akshay was surrounded by over 40 sharks when his head got struck in a wrecked ship.

Luckily, the cast and crew members rescued Akshay right on time.

The film also boasts of the maximum number of underwater scenes ever filmed in any Bollywood movie till date.

With a whooping budget of 125 Crores, Blue is one of the most expensive Bollwyood films ever made.

The shoot was very tasking for the cast as they had never shot extensive underwater scenes before.

Directed by Anthony D'Souza the film is all set for a Diwali release.
