Gunjan (Roopal Tyagi) in Zee TV’s Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke (Shankuntalam Productions) is all set to be betrothed to Mayank (Ankit Gera) soon, but missing from the scene currently is one of Gunjan’s probable suitors Rajeev Agarwal (Zohaib Siddiqui). The fans of this handsome star were excited when the track of this couple was introduced, but all of a sudden, Rajeev went off screen leaving the audience disheartened and disappointed.

We had a chat with Zohaib who seems to be fine with the sudden development in the track. “Yes, it does feel bad when a character you have given so much ends, but I was prepared for it. It’s a usual norm in TV industry and one must take this positively.”

The actor who is currently looking for good projects does not let this affect his high spirits. “I am enjoying at the moment, and insha allah will be bagging something good really soon. I would want my fans to keep the support and good wishes pouring.”

Having got the leisure time that he wanted, Zohaib is spending hours in the gym working out on his body and getting ready to make it bigger this time.

His loyal fans have been bombarding his Facebook profile with messages of displeasure and want the actor back on screen. When asked whether he will be moving to the big screen or stay with TV, he is quick to respond, “I want to do good roles, whether it’s TV or films. What matters to me is good work.”

Talking about his association with SSLK, the actor fondly remembers all the good times he had in the show. “I am still in touch with most of them, and get all the updates regularly. I am really thankful to SSLK for the amount and quality of work I got to do in the short time span I was there.”

We are sure this article will come as some respite for Zohaib’s fan who are dying to watch
him again onscreen. And we wish him all the best for his future.
