Paresh Rawal refused to drive a truck
Paresh Rawal is playing the character of a truck driver in Sunil Advani directed Hindi feature film 'Life Mein Hungama Hai'.
Based on the story 'The Running Away' by Ruskin Bond, it is a fun filled children's film and is peppered with unexpected adventures of two runaways, subtly underscoring the balanced view between discipline and freedom.
According to the director Sunil Advani, "Paresh had to drive a big truck in the film but when he saw it, he refused to drive it. He was a little scared because he had never driven such a big vehicle before. But we had no other option since his is the character of a truck driver. In fact he said that he can drive a smaller truck but then we were able to convince him. He drove the truck with the ease of an expert."
Film is an odyssey of adventures of two young lads Vishwanath and Sunny, two students of class IX at a boarding school in the foothills of the Himalaya.
With the star cast of Jackie Shroff, Urmila Matondkar, Paresh Rawal, Boman Irani, Mukesh Tiwari, Satish etc, the main roles of the two boys have been played by Saksham Kulkarni (he won the Asian best actor award in Singapore in 2006 for Marathi film Pak Pak Pakaak) and Sonu Bakshi (a top child model).
It is produced under the banner of Nine Lives Films by Karun and Sahil. Executive producer is Poonam Advani, Cinematographer is Aviram Mishra, story is of Ruskin Bond and dialogues are by Anjan Ray. It has music by Jeet Gannguli while lyrics are by Nida Fazil & Ibrahim Ashq.
