CEO,Star India PVT ltd Chairman, FICCI Entertainment Committee, Uday Shankar along with Karan Johar, co-chairman at the inaugural speech of 14th chapter of FICCI Frames 2013 had a nice talk on a constitutional clause 'Right to Speech' which according to them have failed in entertainment industry in recent days.

"There have been cases when a show like Satyamev Jayate which stood against the faults of society was dragged in controversy, we have people like Johny LLB and there have been cases when an innocent girl was asked for blood just for updating her views on a social networking site. This all shows that our right of speech have been restricted by powers. In that case I would love to discuss on Bollywood having 100 crores of blockbuster instead," states Uday Shankar. Television being considered as a small medium deliberately stay away from big controversies unlike Bollywood.

On the same Karan Johar spontaneously shared, " I agree with Uday on 'Right to Speech' but never mind, Bollywood will always keep on offending and spending half of our time in courts. People will continue saying that Bollywood have no creative concepts but how will makers think on the concepts, with half of their time spend in courts."

FICCI Frames 2013, started off with a great enthusiasm, where along with honorable delegates from overseas and renowned personalities, Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor too graced the event for lighting the lamp.
