Inkaar, a good example of new-age storytelling: Farhan
The promos and trailers of Sudhir Mishra's 'Inkaar', starring Arjun Rampal and Chitrangda Singh, have stirred up quite a debate. The storyline that focuses on sexual harassment at workplace is a matter of grave concern across the world in current times.
In the film, Arjun plays Rahul Verma, CEO of an advertising agency, who faces charges of sexual harassment by his ambitious protege and national creative director Maya Luthra played by Chitrangda.
Here's looking at what some of our celebrities had to say after they watched the film:
Hrithik Roshan: It's a genre and style of cinema that is rarely seen. The screenplay is so beautiful... it keeps you engrossed totally. The energy between the actors is sizzling. It's Arjun's best work so far. The team should be proud.
Farhan Akhtar: The film is a good example of new-age storytelling, with solid performances and a screenplay that keeps you captivated throughout, till the end.
Abhishek Kapoor: Sudhir has handled a sensitive subject with a lot of finesse. Arjun has emerged such a fine actor. He and Chitrangda look great together.
Preity Zinta: The subject is very relevant and the film is good. And it's Arjun's best work.
Madhur Bhandarkar: It's a hard-hitting film, with a non-simplistic linear narrative that is absorbing, engaging and need-of-the-hour cinema. Sudhir has made a very captivating drama and both Arjun and Chitrangda have performed well.
