Bhardwaj also wants to shoot in foreign localesFilmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj, known for making rustic, village-based dramas "Omkara", "Ishqiya", "Maqbool", "Makdee" and the latest "Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola", says he wants to shoot abroad someday.
"It (India) is a beautiful country and can be explored endlessly. That is the reason why I have never been able to go outside India to shoot a film. I am also eager to shoot in UK, US or Switzerland. They are such great holidays," the 47-year-old said here Tuesday at a promotional press conference of "Matru Ki..."
He has set "Matru Ki..." in Haryana and says despite the traditional language in the film, he has tried to keep it simple.
"We have tried to keep the dialect of the film such that even a South Indian understands it. The most beautiful thing about India is that the dialect changes every 100 km and the culture changes," he said.
