As Katrina Kaif celebrates her 25th birthday, we take you to a pictorial journey of her work in the limelight so far.

Katrina Kaif started her acting career with the film Boom in 2003. An ensemble film directed by Kaizad Gustad, Boom had actors likee Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff and Padma Lakshmi. The film was criticised for its explicit content.

In 2004, Katrina played the title role in the Telugu film Malliswari.

Katrina's big break in Bollywood came with Sarkar in 2005. While she played a supporting role in the film, association with the Bachchans who constituted the main cast of the film and with Ram Gopal Verma established Katrina as a force to be reckoned with.

Also in 2005, Kat paired up with beau Salman Khan and his brother Sohail along with Sushmita Sen in Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya.

Katrina closed 2005 with another Telugu film Allari Pidugu.

In 2006 began Katrina's golden run with Akshay Kumar. Their first film together was Humko Deewana Kar Gaye.

Katrina teamed up with Akshay yet again in 2007 for Namaste London.

Kartina continued her successful run in 2007 with the film Apne featuring Dharmendra and his two sons, Sunny and Bobby.

A hat-trick of success came Kat's way in 2007 when she did Partner with Govinda and Salman Khan. While she was going strong with Salman, she was paired opposite Govinda.

Katrina's final hit of 2007 was Welcome, also opposite Akshay Kumar.

Katrina also managed a spot in one of 2008's early hits, Race.

While 2007 had been immensely successful for Katrina, she hit the jackpot in 2008 with the bumper hit Singh is Kinng.

After a whopping seven hits in a row, Katrina's pairing with real life boyfriend Salman in Yuvvraaj went awry as the film flopped.

Katrina made up for the loss of Yuvvraaj in 2009, with the hit film New York in which she starred opposite John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh.

That is it for Katrina's report card thus far, and we can safely say she has passed with flying colours. And now, a look at some treats that are to come our way in the upcoming months. First will be the multi-starrer Blue. Apart from the Akshay-Katrina pairing, the film also has Sajnay Dutt and Aussie singing sensation Kylie Minogue.

There is much mystery and controversy around the Katrina starrer Rajniti, which is being directed by Prakash Jha. It is said that Katrina's role is based on either Sonia Gandhi or her mother-in-law Indira Gandhi.

Another much-awaited film is Ajab Prem ki Gazab Kahani where Katrina stars opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Rumours of their real life chemistry have made both their significant others a tad umcomfortable.
