If you have to be an actor, India Fest is the right platform to explore: Neha Dhupia
Sexy Bollywood siren Neha Dhupia is quite kicked with her association with Channel V‘s India Fest (intercollegiate festival) in which she will judge the best campus Diva in the finale at Goa.
“I have been a part of similar shows (title holder of Femina Miss India, 2002) earlier. Hence, I know how it works. These kinds of competitions play a very important role in giving students an opportunity to explore various facets of their personality. Young people also learn to compete in a healthy environment. While the winner marches ahead, the losers also resolve to come back with all guns blazing next year as well.”
So what would your criterion be in judging the contestants? “Well, decent looks, lots of wit and tons of confidence. Last but not the least, you need to be yourself and not copy others.” Neha also smartly refuses to divulge on the kind of questions she will ask the girls, “Be rest assured, it will not be something on Mother Teresa or a general knowledge quiz regarding the latest happenings in Pakistan and Syria.”
Neha, who will next be seen in a Punjabi film Rangeeley, does not think that such beauty pageants are a direct stepping stone to films, “For that matter, everything in life can be regarded the same. But, if you have it in you to be an actor then this platform is a big help for sure,” she exclaims.
