My daughter used to think I was Aamir Khan: Shah Rukh
Jab Tak Hai Jaan may have hit written all over it before it even releases but Shah Rukh Khan admits that while he may be a hero for the rest of the world, he's not always one for at least one member of his own family.
At the Tehelka ThinkFest conclave in Goa, Shah Rukh said, "Four years back my daughter used to think I am Aamir Khan and for my son I am always a hero."
The actor, who just turned 47, is in the process of giving the final touches to his autobiography and also read out excerpts from it.
Shah Rukh Khan seemed to be in a mood for introspection at the festival and admitted to feeling "lonely at the top." He also said he is constantly fighting with the "feeling of emptiness".
"I have a beautiful family. I have a few friends with whom I spend lot of time. I don't want to die like my father. I don't want to be unknown. I would like to be just successful. Believe me it is lonely at the top," said SRK.
Startling confessions indeed, for someone who is widely acknowledged to be one of India's biggest superstars.(With PTI inputs)
