Friday Release: Find out the secret recipe with 'Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana'Anurag Kashyap is a busy producer as well. He is coming up with another film after ‘Aiyyaa’. Sameer Sharma’s debut directorial venture ‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana’ is going to hit the screens on November 2. The film stars Kunal Kapoor, Huma Qureshi and Rajesh Sharma in the lead roles.
The film is about a crazy Punjabi family which is in search of a secret recipe. They believe that the discovery of this recipe can bring prosperity for the family.
The basic storyline revolves around Omi Khurana (Kunal) who returns from London to his village. He pretends that he was a famous lawyer in London; however the truth is something else. He ran away from London because a gangster was after his life. Omi owes a hefty sum to this gangster but he chooses the option of returning to his village in absence of any other way.
His village has changed a lot in his absence but everybody treats Omi with respect. Omi’s childhood sweetheart Harman (Huma) is about to marry his cousin but there is something still left between Omi and Harman.
The family is facing financial troubles and there last hope is a restaurant which once used to sell an item called ‘Chicken Khurana’. The only problem is that nobody in the family knows the exact recipe of Chicken Khurana. Now, everybody is in the pursuit of the secret recipe.
‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana’ appears to be a slice of life film at the first glance. Kunal Kapoor is looking good without his trademark beard. Last time, he was seen in ‘Don 2’. Huma is teaming up with Anurag Kashyap for the second time after ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’. One would hope to see the lighter part of Huma’s personality in ‘LSTCK’.
Rajesh Sharma has done some good character roles in the past, but this time he has been featured as one of the pivotal characters, so he will leave no stone unturned to make his mark.
Amit Trivedi has composed the music for ‘LSTCK’ and one song ‘Kikli kaler di’ is doing well. The film is expected to receive a good opening because no star studded film is releasing alongside it.
