    Default Aditya Chopra turns poet

One doesn’t know if it’s love that’s done the trick. But Aditya Chopra has turned a poet. Everyone attributed the romantic lines that appeared along with the announcement of the title for the new Yash Chopra film, to Gulzar who has penned the lyrics for the film.

However the man behind the poetic lines (albeit in faulty faltering Urdu… ‘namkeen mastiyan’ sounds like a parody of Gulzar’s style) is none other than the film’s director’s son Aditya Chopra who as we all know, has taken more than a passing interest in the making of Jab Tak Hain Jaan.

That he has penned the poems that Shah Rukh will be heard reciting to Katrina Kaif comes as a surprise.

According to a source associated with Yashraj, Adi writes romantic poetry for someone very special in his life. Aditya Chopra’s associates at Yashraj Films are not at all surprised that he has gone public with some of them.

“Adi is a diehard romantic at heart. He writes romantic poetry. But so far they were very private and not to be shared with even his closest friends. Now in Jab Tak Hai Jaan he has gone public with his poetry for the first time. This is the new Adi Chopra. More outgoing. Though still fiercely protective of his privacy he is now willing to share his inner thought,” says the source.

Apparently in his father’s film Adi Chopra has allowed his romantic personality to be manifested in the scenes between Shah Rukh and Katrina.
“Shah Rukh would basically be putting forward Adi Chopra’s definition of romance. The poetry is also Adi’s,” the source informs.

In the meanwhile reliable sources at Yashraj completely trash the rumours of a marriage between Aditya Chopra and actress Rani Mukherjee.

Informs the source, “Neither of them is keen on marriage. Adi is happy with his single status. After his separation from his first wife another go at marriage is far from desirable. As for Rani she is even more vehemently opposed to the idea of marriage. With Aiyaa Rani Mukherjee has embarked on a second phase in her career. She isn’t even thinking of the ‘m’ word. So it’s status quo for them. If you want to describe their relationship then I think Gulzar Saab’s words are more apt than Adi’s poetry. Gulzar Saab says, ‘Haath se chuke issey rishton ka ilzaam na do.’ Let the relationship be.”
