Paritosh Painter, writer and director of the forthcoming comic caper Paying Guest, wanted to work with his favourite actors Karisma Kapur and Kareena Kapoor for whom he had crafted a script too but never got a chance to do it. But he is living his dream through Shreya’s Talpade and Javed Jaffrey who will essay characters named Karisma and Kareena when they cross dress in the film. Shreya’s changes to an Indian housewife wife named Karisma and Javed becomes the chic western arm candy Kareena. Paritosh says: “It’s my dream to work with Karisma and Kareena. I kind of lived my dream by using their names for this film.

God willing if Paying Guest does well then I surely would want to approach them and ask them to hear out my script and give me an opportunity to work with them. Keeping my fingers crossed.” According to the grapevine, Paritosh has already started working on the script which he will present to Lolo and Bebo. He has in fact approached a big Hollywood studio to back the project too. Paritosh, however, was not ready to give out details of the script or name the studio. The director has also named his lead characters after him, his four best friends and their wives. Shreya’s and Celina Jaitley are called Bhavesh and Kalpana. Javed are Sayali Bhagat is called Parag and Seema.Aashish Chaudhary and Neha Dhupia are Parikshit (Paritoshs name) and Aarti. Vatsal Seth and Riya Sen are called Jayesh and Arpita.

Johnny Lever and Delnaaz Paul have been named Ballu and Sweety and Chunkey Pandey is Rammi named after Ballu’s real brother Raminder. When asked, Paritosh comments: “My friends are my support system and been with me through thick and this is kind of saying Thank you to them. Also when you have a script which has such a huge cast it becomes difficult to remember the character names and who is what to whom. Since I had named all my characters after my friends and their respective wives it became easier and simpler to remember.”
