"It was lovely to work with veterans in Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai," says Aham SharmaAham Sharma, who was last seen in television shows like Bairi Piya and Choti Si Zindagi, will be seen in Aradhana Films’ upcoming movie, Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai that is scheduled to release on 3 August 2012.
We got in touch with the actor to know about his role and experience in this film.
Said Aham, “It’s a rom-com with some lovely songs. And it has been shot at some beautiful locales of Poland. Since the film is a love-based story, it should appeal to masses.”
About his character, he quipped, “I play Zoravar, a disturbed man. Since, he is unhappy, he tries to create trouble in the lives of the lead pair. But I wouldn’t call him a negative character as he is very real, he is reacting to what he has got from them.”
So how was his experience shooting for the flick? “Though this is not my first film, it was lovely working with veteran actors like Mohnish Behl and Farida Jalal.”
Since Aham, who has earlier acted in the flick Blue Oranges, has done both films and serials, we asked him of the main difference between the mediums? “When you work in a film, your quality of work automatically goes up as you have more time to prepare. However, in serials you do not have that much time as there is a lot to do in a short span,” the actor observed.
And guess what? As they say, there is no gain without pain. The actor had a minor accident on the sets of Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai.
Recollecting the incident, he shared, “Well, an actor was to punch on my face and he hit me so hard that my lip got cut. It started bleeding but the director was kind enough to give me a 30 minute break before I started to roll again. It wasn’t that serious as such things keep happening.”
That sounds like an ‘ouch’ experience. Hope the movie becomes a great success, Aham
