WWE Loses Track Of Cena/Laurinaitis Storyline
On Monday night's edition of WWE RAW SuperShow, John Laurinaitis announced that he had re-hired Big Show this past Saturday, one day before his match with John Cena at WWE Over The Limit. Show would then interfere in the match on Laurinaitis's behalf.
It was previously announced that if any contracted WWE Superstar interfered in the match, they would be officially terminated from the company. With Show being "re-hired" one day prior to the pay-per-view, this would mean that he would have to be terminated for interfering in the match between Cena and Laurinaitis since he was a contracted WWE Superstar.
However, backstage WWE officials quickly noticed this and instructed announcer Michael Cole to quickly counter this by stating that Show and Laurinaitis had entered a "verbal contract" prior to Over The Limit and that no actual contract was signed until "the wee hours of Monday morning."
Technically speaking, a verbal contract still constitutes a contract.
So with all of that said, what YOUR thoughts are! Should Big Show still be off of WWE programming? Did WWE make a huge mistake with this move?
