Fans of Akkinenni trio were delighted with the news that all the three biggies are acting together in one movie and that would be directed by Vikram Kumar of "Ishq" fame. Now, here is the latest update that ‘Trayam’ is the title under consideration for the film. Trayam will be shot in bilingual versions in Telugu and Tamil, and the film marks Naga Chaitanya’s Kollywood debut as lead.
Vikram Kumar who is on cloud-nine after the stupendous success of ‘Ishq’ approached Nagarjuna some time ago after ‘Ishq,’ happened to narrate an interesting storyline to the ‘Shiva’ star. Impressed by the line, Nag gave a green signal for Vikram to helm the film. The film in case will go on floors as soon as Nag wraps up his ‘Shirdi Sai’.
ANR and Nagarjuna has already shared screen space in films like Collector Gaari Abbayi, Iddaru Iddare, Sri Ramadasu et al but it would be the first film for Naga Chaitanya to share screen with his father as well as grand father.
Annapurna studios in association with Walt Disney will produce Trayam while PC Sriram will handle the cinematography. Other details regarding the film are awaited. The only one instance, three generation of actors appeared together for a film on Indian screen is ‘Kal Aaj Aur Kal’ (1971). It had Prithviraj Kapoor, Raj Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor in the lead.
