Imran Khan to gain weight for 'OUATIM' sequel
Bollywood Chocolate boy Imran Khan is on a high these days, courtesy, his last film 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu' hitting the jackpot at the Box Office. Imran Khan who is currently busy with Vishal Bharadwaj's "Matru KI Bijli Ka Mandola" is all set to graduate from being a chocolate hero to a gritty gangster in director Milan Luthria's sequel to Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai.
In Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai 2, Imran plays Aslam, a street fighter with a heart of gold. Apart from the fact that this will be Imran's first such role, Luthria is keen he puts on weight and looks suitably beefed-up for the part.
In a latest interview, Milan Luthria mentioned that he believes Imran Khan is a fully commited actor and he will go great distance to get the look of what Milan has in mind. He told that it will need a tight diet regimen and extended endurance exercise.
Milan further added that he wants to give Imran Khan’s role an edge so that he looks amazingly different and makes everybody sit up and take notice.Imran Khan is extremely excited to do this character. He said that he’s thrilled to be a part of Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Sequel and he will make certain that he will keep up Milan Luthria’s terms.
The film is expected to hit theatres in the first few months of 2013. In the upcoming sequel, Akshay reprises the role originally portrayed by Emraan Hashmi in the first movie. Imran and Akshay are appearing together for the first time and this is expected to generate a lot of curiosity among the audiences. Well, one thing for sure, the chocolate boy and the Punjabi munda could sure bring about some magic in the theatres with their ardent female fan following!
