"Rowdy Rathore" starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha is probably one of the most anticipated films of 2012. Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and UTV Motion Pictures, Rowdy Rathore, which features Akshay Kumar in a double role, is a remake of Telugu film Vikramarkudu. Prabhu Deva is directing Akshay for the first time in this mass masala entertainer.

Now the latest buzz is that Kareena will be doing a special appearance in a song in "Rowdy Rathore". Ever since her item number Chammak chhallo topped the charts, it seems Kareena Kapoor can’t stop dancing. She even experimented with mujra in her recent release, Agent Vinod. And now, taking the dance fever ahead, she will be seen doing a special appearance for a song in Rowdy Rathore.

Says a source associated with the project, “It’s a very tapori number starring the lead actors, Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha. The duo will be seen dancing on the streets of Mumbai doing dhinchak steps. To suit the tapori avatar, Sonakshi will be seen in a vibrant salwar-kameez and Akshay will be flaunting a colourful shirt and a pant.” The informer further adds, “The surprise element would be a hot and chic Kareena appearing in the middle of the song, looking all dapper in western attire.”

And not only that, ace dancer and director of Rowdy Rathore, Prabhudeva will also be seen shaking a leg in the same song. However Prabhudeva and Kareena will not dance together, they both will appear at different points in the song.

Akshay Kumar is back to action after seven years with this mass masala entertainer. Akshay Kumar has been working on some of the most back-breaking stunts to ensure that the remake of the Telugu film Vikramarkurdu turns out to be far slicker and riveting than the original.

"Rowdy Rathore" is slated for release on 1st June 2012.
