WishTel’s low-cost tablet ready to storm Indian market
The IT products maker, WishTel, launched two tablets that have priced between Rs 4,000 and Rs 5,500 on Friday. WishTel became the third company to introduce low-cost tablets within the week.
WishTel’s ‘Ira’ and ‘Ira Thing’ are seven-inches Android tablets that supports native Indian languages to provide a rich computing experience to the Indian users in their own native language for the first time. It also supports HD video, Wi-Fi and 3G alongside an in-built memory beginning from 2 GB, expandable upto 32 GB.
The two tablets have been tailored to meet the specific needs of the Indian user and combine advanced multimedia, connectivity and computing capabilities with rich features.
The tablets will be sold through 350 distributions and support centres, targeting end users including students, homemakers and corporate executives.
WishTel also revealed that it would participate in the second bidding round for Aakash tablet.
