Emraan Hashmi's 'Jannat 2' shoot interrupted
Emraan Hashmi who is better known as Bollywood Serial Kisser is right now passing through the best phase of his career. After doing two successful films “Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai” and “The Dirty Picture” with Balaji Motion Pictures, is now in high demand by the biggest production houses of Bollywood.
Previously Emraan Hashmi was known for doing Bhatt camps films only and because of Bhatt camp he became one of the prominant actors of Bollywood. Post the cult success of The Dirty Picture, his fans cannot get enough of him and this he realised while shooting for Jannat 2 in Delhi recently.
The crew was shooting at the congested Pahar Ganj area of old Delhi when the crowd intrusions became too much to bear. “The unit wanted candid shots but after a point they became impossible to can as a huge crowd had gathered to watch the shoot. And when they spotted Emraan they drove to a frenzy,” says the spokesperson of the actor.
Emraan then suggested that the crew continue to shift locations to avoid delays. “He usually doesn’t interfere with a director’s job, but this time he stepped in to bail the unit out of the situation,” says our source. Emraan, who is still getting used to his popularity, puts up a modest stance when probed about the incident. “I have been taught that an actor is only as big as his last film. So I ensure that I am always pragmatic in my approach, but I can’t deny that it is very reassuring for an actor to be loved by people,” he says. Blame it on the Dirty success, Emraan!
