Riteish finally accepted as a solo heroTERE NAAL LOVE HO GAYA has turned out to be a decent success after holding on well right through the weekdays. While Genelia D'Souza is already entering record books for delivering maximum number of consecutive successes in films made across different languages, the one for whom this success would matter most is Riteish Deshmukh, who after two unsuccessful attempts of going solo in JAANE KAHAN SE AAYI HAI and ALADIN, had almost made up his mind to stick to multi starrers.
This is when he signed films like DOUBLE DHAMAAL, HOUSEFULL 2, KYA SUPER KOOL HAI HUM and GRAND MASTI - all multi-starrers. At that time he had no qualms in admitting that he didn't want to fiddle with an already running machinery
"Things have changed though with TERE NAAL LOVE HO GAYA," says an industry insider, "Of course credit must go to Genelia D'Souza as well since it's her spunky act which is being liked as well. Still, in the end it is film's success that counts and now that Riteish has finally achieved it by playing a quintessential Hindi film hero instead of only standing up as a comic actor, it's a matter of celebration for Deshmukhs."
