Amitabh's condition worsens, to be operated upon again!
Not all seems to be well with Amitabh Bachchan. The actor, who had a 4 hour long abdominal surgery a few days ago, was recuperating well. But now, fresh medical issues have emerged and it is likely that his stay at the hospital might be extended, as he'll have to undergo yet another surgery.
Bachchan tweeted on Thursday evening about the fact that he'll have to visit the operation theater once again. Here's what he tweeted, "Some more tests.. more unpronounceable medication ... and ... another visit to the OT .. operation theater ! Going to be a long stay(sic)."
He further added by saying, "I have no idea now how long this will take, but it does look as though it will be long .. thank you for your prayers and love ..!!How times change ! During 1982 'Coolie' episode, I used to keep all your prayers under my pillow .. now .. on Twitter and Blog ..!(sic)"
According to reports, after the pain resurfaced, Bachchan went through CT scan again.
Sources suggest that the surgery has not been a success and due to old age, the pain and infection in the actor's intestine has aggravated.
Despite the fact that the surgery went off well, the 69-year-old actor had complained of acute pain post-surgery and guess that's what's led the doctors to opt for yet another surgery.
Here’s wishing Big B a speedy recovery!...being a human...

Amitabh Bachchan's health showing signs of improvementAmitabh Bachchan, who is undergoing treatment at Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai, has reported signs of improvement in his health. His chances of undergoing another surgery were also dismissed by Subroto Roy of Sahara Pariwar. And now, the actor has written about the little improvements in his health.
"The morning of today arose with deep thought and contemplation on the morning before. In the midst of intense discussions between the medical team and the family, there seemed to be an opinion arriving that perhaps another surgery was avoidable and that some of the blood reports which had reached alarming levels were beginning to show signs of improvement," Bachchan posted on his blog on Saturday.
"Oblivious to all these there was a desire to walk and move more than would be described as comfortable in prevailing circumstances, but the insistence of those that move about with slung stethoscopes about their necks was difficult to ignore and so a few gentle dragging steps, with the rod carrying the drips followed along a few feet around the bed," he added.
Big B is expected to spend a few more days at the hospital before he gets discharged....being a human...
