Default India vs Australia T20: Can India avoid another whitewash?

India's rotten form continued in the shortest version of the game. Seemingly continuing from where they left off in Tests India capitulated in the first T20 against a new look Australian side.

They will be hoping that their famed batting line up comes good at Melbourne to save them the blushes.
Looking at a shameful second whitewash down under India need Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir to fire desperately at the top and give the middle order some sort of platform to set up a good target, or to chase down the target set by Australia.

India will play Australia in the second T20 International today at MCG and it will be daunting task for visitors to level the two-match series.

Indian top order failed to provide a good start in the first T20. Again, top order should be blamed for 31 runs defeat in the 1st T20 game.

Sehwag and Gambhir's poor showing with the bat is a big concern for skipper Dhoni. Sehwag returned to the pavillion in the very first over while Gambhir failed to build on his innings.

Fall of wickets at regular intervals meant that India never really got into a good position to challenge Australia.
Rohit Sharma, who got the chance for the first time in this tour, departed for a duck while Kohli simply could not handle the pressure of keeping his wicket intact while chasing Australia's daunting run rate.
