Pak releases video of NATO airstrike which killed its soldiers, says apology not enoughPakistan on Wednesday released video footage of the aftermath of NATO attack in which 24 Pakistani soldiers were killed. The video was released to back its claim that the air strikes at two military checkposts in the country's north-western tribal region on Saturday were not an accident.
Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has insisted that because the NATO attack on the country's security post was not accidental, a mere apology was not enough.
"Pakistan cannot see its soldiers being killed by allied forces any more," The News quoted Khar, as saying.
After the attack, Pakistan gave an ultimatum to Washington to vacate the Shamsi air base, which was being used by US drone, within 15 days.
Pakistan has also decided to boycott the Bonn conference on Afghanistan which is scheduled to be held later this month.
American officials, however, said the move would not have a significant impact on the operations against militants.
