Default ALOO CHAAT during cricket breaks or vice versa?

During the making of ALOO CHAAT, it was hard for the cast and crew of the film to decide what did they love most? Was it shooting for the film, enjoying those rounds of 'aloo chaat' which were made available on the sets or play a game of cricket?
This is indeed what happened on the sets of Robby Grewal directed ALOO CHAAT when the film maker along with Aftab Shivdasani, the lead actor of the film, ganged up with the rest of the cast and crew of the film and got a bat and ball in their hands during the breaks.

Says a crew member, "They both proved once again that in India cricket is one sport that is worshipped and followed. Both were driven by their love for sports and were quite keen on playing cricket regularly on the sets in Delhi. Not a day went by without a game of cricket."

But how was it ensured that they were not carried away by their love for the sport? Didn't it impact the flow of the film's shoot?

"Not at all", laughs Robby who has just returned to Mumbai after his marriage in New Delhi, "The schedule was designed keeping the mandatory breaks in mind so that the unit could indulge in their favorite pass time. It's quite a feat that in spite of all the fun and games, the film was shot in a total of 30 days and is ready for release now."

Well, now since IPL season is (hopefully) going to come soon, it won't be a surprise if Aftab and Robby are spotted watching matches on television together as well.

Starring Aamna Shariff and Linda Arsenio as the leading ladies, ALOO CHAAT releases all over this Friday.
