    ...things happen, and sometimes for no reason. They can have bad outcomes or good outcomes...OUR reaction to them are what counts. We all have coping mechanisms, some are good ones some are bad...the way we choose to deal with what happens can make a big difference in the outcomes in our lives. Some people turn to their support systems, like family, church, friends,and can get over their feelings of depression. Having someone to talk to and to share your situation with helps but you have to be willing to reach out. Others make bad choices and harm themselves by doing dangerous or illegal things, drugs, overdrinking, thinking that this will help the problem. IT never does. Having more support systems to deal with these good and bad things really helps. Some people are just stronger than others in certain situations. Some people have major things happen and they come out okay, some have the tinies thing go wrong and they fall apart. We all have problems and things that happen that are not what we want or would choose to happen. IT helps to keep everything in perspective and also to remember we are not alone. There is always someone you can call, even if you are alone at the time. Family, friends, nearby professionals at a local hospital or even an anonymous phone line...look up in the phone book....crisis centers....REACH out to someone...that is the second step after finding you cannot get over being depressed alone....NO ONE CAN LIVE IN THIS WORLD ALONE>>>WE all depend on each other and can help...IF the first person you reach out to can't help, then continue to find someone. Realizing you are bothered by feelings of depression is the first step to getting help, then being brave enough to want to be strong and get help will help to strengthen your inner self again and regain control of your life and your emotions again and make life easier, hopefully....DON"T DESPAIR, don't let problems weigh on you and drain your energy....OPEN UP and look at the big picture...THIS TOO SHALL PASS! and be strong and reach out...for yourself...HAVE faith in yourself and know you are worth it! THAT choice alone will help you to regain control and feel stronger mentally and physically, and help you to keep healthier and happier, overall.....
