Four years after JHOOM BARABAR JHOOM, Preity Zinta is making a comeback of sorts in Bollywood when it comes to quintessential commercial cinema. Though in the interim she did work in films like THE LAST LEAR, VIDESH - HEAVEN ON EARTH and HEROES which were basically offbeat outings, she did divert her attention towards IPL for a good time period. However with ISHKQ IN PARIS, she has entrusted the responsibility of making her shine all over again on Prem Soni, the man who had earlier roped her in for a special song and dance sequence - 'Happening' - in his debut directorial effort MAIN AURR MRS KHANNA.

"And trust me, we are going to make the most out of our association and make ISHKQ IN PARIS a 'happening' film indeed,' gleams Prem who is absolutely charged as he gets all set to call the shots all over again two years after the release of his Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor starrer, "Whether it's a romcom or a classic romance, it needs to have a certain depth to it. ISHKQ IN PARIS, as the name suggests, has been designed as a light hearted romantic entertainer and we have made sure that it won't be frivolous or have a childish feel to it. It will have a certain depth to it."

As he reiterates the importance of the written word in a love story, Prem acknowledges that he as well as Preity were quite sure about spending good enough time on making the script strong before making a film together.

"Look at Preity's own films like SALAAM NAMASTE and VEER ZAARA; they worked because there was so much maturity in these love stories. Relationships were given time to develop in these stories which ensured that they were accepted by the audience. Same holds good for BAND BAAJA BAARAAT too which in my opinion was again not at all frivolous," says Prem.

Boasting of an all-international cast, ISHKQ IN PARIS goes on floors this month and releases all over next year.
