Wisla Krakow's Robert Maaskant looks ahead to Champions League clash against Apoel
Wisla Krakow coach Robert Maaskant believes his side can hold their own when they travel to Apoel in Tuesday night's Champions League play-off second-leg.
The Polish outfit are 1-0 up on aggregate following last week's narrow win.
But, the Cypriots will be up for the fight as they sense an upset at home.
However, despite facing a struggle, Maaskant is aware his side can count on their lead and potential to score goals heading into the clash.
'We know that our task on Tuesday will not be easy. Apoel are a very strong and good team,' Maaskant told Intera.pl.
'But when you look at the previous meeting, we were the team that had better chances of scoring goals.
'Our starting position does not provide us with too much comfort, but we are still able to score goals away from home.
'We are ready for what tomorrow will bring us. We hope that we can go through to the group stages.'
However, Apoel midfielder Helio Pinto is ready to stand in their way as he tries to encourage his side into making one major push for glory.
'The first game in Poland was difficult for us,' Pinto told Uefa.com.
'We lost that game 1-0 and we know they have the advantage, but we will try our best to turn it around.
'We know from experience just how tough these games are.
'We don't what will happen in the end but we do know it will be difficult but not impossible.
'If we want to win it, we will need to be focused.'
