"I am sure that people would want to see Singham again" - Ajay Devgn
If you look at Ajay Devgn's career graph, you'd think that it's easy to be successful in Bollywood. Well, it's bloody tough! For Devgn, his movies have faced some of the toughest competitions in Bollywood history and yet this man has come out victorious. Considered to be the box office blessing, Ajay is Indian Film Industry's most bankable actor today.
And by the way, forget action, Ajay's vulnerability combined with his dusky feature is potent enough to hypnotise theatres full of women too. And with Singham offering him to have his shirt off, who wouldn't? In the leading-man landscape, there is nobody quite like Ajay Devgn. Ajay is the one you find living amongst the masses, drinking a beer or playing with his kids in his backyard. No leading man seems more comfortable in his own skin than Devgn. By the way, he has nothing against his shirts too! Welcome the return of the six packs, Welcome Singham!"When Rohit showed me the script I just had one word 'Perfect'" Well the wait for action films was not easy, but I now realize the wait was worth it. When Rohit showed me the script I just had one word 'Perfect' - a high octane drama with action.
I've been waiting for some time for the right action role to come up and Singham was right. Singham is an out and out action / drama film which we don't get to see much nowadays in India. It's the traditional hero vs villain storyline, sprinkling of romance, lots of intense action sequences. All in all the film is entertaining and thrilling at the same time. "I had to be fitter than I was" Well I had to go through a three-month, intensive training regime for the film in order to beef up and obtain a six-pack. I work-out a lot anyway but when Rohit gave me the brief for the character and I realized a lot of intensive action sequences were involved, I certainly had to look the part. I had to be fitter than I was and work harder at achieving that physique. 3 months of intensive training sessions & the six pack - well worth it though.
"Every film has pushed Rohit to surpass his previous best" Rohit is an excellent director and a very close friend to me. You'd have to ask him if he finds it a challenge. Whatever it is, every film pushes him and all of us to work harder. I am sure once the movie is released it will fulfil the expectation of the viewers. "Kajal has the ability and talent to cross-over to Indian cinema" Kajal is a talented actress and very well known in South India....being a human...

"Singham is a return of the old style hero-villain dialogues that Hindi films are all about"
There isn't any favourite dialogue. The movie is written brilliantly and is a return of the old style hero-villain dialogues that Hindi films are all about. There are too many good dialogues to choose from.
