Dannii is 'livid' at being forced off X Factor after producers 'refused to move audition dates'

Out: Dannii Minogue is said to be furious at being forced to quit the X Factor judging panel

Dannii Minogue is said to be livid after being pushed off the X Factor judging panel.
The 39-year-old told friends that producers had not attempted to shift audition dates so she could film both Australia’s Got Talent and The X Factor.
One told the Daily Mail that show bosses had moved ‘heaven and earth’ to allow new judge Gary Barlow, of Take That, to film auditions and appear on his group’s upcoming tour.

However, producers told Australian Miss Minogue – who is the mother of a ten-month-old son, Ethan – that she would have to shuttle between Britain and Australia if she wanted to continue.

The source said: ‘Dannii’s fuming. She was put in a terrible position of being told she would have do that dreadful 25-hour flight countless times over the next few months if she wanted to do the show.

‘No attempt was made to move dates for her or to help her out.
'After a very tense week, she just said, “I’m a mum, how can I keep flying back and forth? I have a baby to care for”.’
Miss Minogue is particularly disappointed because she helped mentor Matt Cardle to success in last year’s show.
Fans of the Australian are also thought to be angry that the undoubted star of last year's series of The X Factor is leaving the show.
The move has meant that auditions due to start in Manchester on Wednesday have been postponed until two new judges are signed up.

Simon Cowell, who remains as executive producer, has already been replaced by Barlow, 40, while Tulisa Contostavlos, 22, of R&B band N-Dubz, is expected to sign a deal this week.
A show source said: ‘Tulisa is volatile, fashionable and speaks her mind. She will really appeal to viewers.’

As it was: Dannii on the panel alongside Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell

Success: Last year's winning judge Dannii with Matt Cardle who won the show's prize

She has often spoken about her troubled childhood growing up on a tough estate in London.
The singer was meant to replace Cheryl Cole, who is now filming The X Factor USA.

Cowell is also said to be close to signing up an American female star to complete the judging line-up.
In the running: N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos is expected to sign up as a judge for the next series

Names in the frame include Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas and Vanessa Hudgens, of High School Musical fame. Louis Walsh remains on the panel.
An ITV insider confirmed Miss Minogue had been ousted, saying: ‘We wanted to freshen up the panel.
'Although there was a clash of dates, it would not have been insurmountable if everyone had really wanted to keep her.’
Miss Minogue said: ‘I’m going to miss the show and the amazing team who work so incredibly hard on it.’
Others to voice their opinions about Dannii's exit included Sinitta, who tweeted yesterday she was unimpressed by the decision.
Using her own nicknames for the X Factor judges, Sinitta tweeted: 'Ok, just read Sista D's statement saying she not doing XFUK..

'Hell to the NO!!!! No tweedy-pie (Cheryl) NO simey (Simon Cowell), NO sista D! (Dannii)... Just loulou (Louis Walsh)... ???!" (sic).'
Sinitta then added: 'I say we all start packing sun block, shades and the big trunks and head out to LA- 'yoo hoo, simey!'... so many changes at once wow!... but Seems she has the other show to do! Madness!'
Later in the afternoon it seems Sinitta became aware of the reality of the situation as she tweeted: 'It's not looking good for me either, looks like every one new.. Ugh.'
PR guru Max Clifford also spoke about the decision on This Morning today.
Asked what he thought of the situation, Clifford replied: 'He [Simon Cowell] definitely wanted to keep her in because she was very popular and has worked very well.

'But in the last few months, because of the American X Factor, this X Factor has had an awful lot of juggling going on and it’s a question of getting the best possible combination.
'Don’t forget it’s the most popular show on television and the fact that when you’re changing judges it makes front page and national newspapers, gives you some idea of how popular it is.

'A lot of critics are saying that the show won’t be as popular and it won’t work but they also said that when Sharon Osbourne went and Cheryl came in. They said that was a ridiculous choice.'
