19th ODI Match - Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur

    On Mar 4, 2011 from 14:30 Local | 08:30 GMT |

Bangladesh would take on West Indies in the 19th ODI match of the ICC World Cup 2011. The match will be hosted at Mirpur. Schedule time of Match is 14:30 Local Time (08:30 GMT). The match is schedule to be played on Mar 4, 2011. The schedule match would be Day/Night and played under flood light condition.

Here is the West Indies and Bangladesh squads for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011:

West Indies: Darren Sammy (Capt), Chris Gayle, Devendra Bishoo, Darren Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Devon Smith, Sulieman Benn, Nikita Miller, Andre Rusell, Ravi Rampaul, Kemar Roach, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Kirk Edwards, Devon Thomas (wk).

Bangladesh: Shakib Al Hasan (capt), Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Zunaed Siddique, Shahriar Nafees, Roqibul Hassan, Mohammad Ashraful, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Naeem Islam, Mahmudullah, Abdur Razzak, Rubel Hossain, Shafiul Islam, Nazmul Hossain, Md Sohrawordi.

A crucial game for both sides which could determine both teams chances of making it to the knockout stages of the tournament.

Bangladesh spinner Abdur Razzak will be the key to a potential upset over the West Indies. Twice in this World Cup, he has been called upon to bowl inside the first five overs, and on both occasions he has had some impact. That being the state of affairs, Razzak v Gayle promises to be a key contest. If Gayle gets out early I think Bangladesh has enough runs in them to get the win.

    Why watch this match?
If Bangladesh do manage to beat West Indies, it may not called an upset but it would create a ruffle all the same – and could mean that West Indies may not go through to the quarter-finals. In many ways, this is the pre-quarter-final of the group.
    Players to look out for:
It has to be Kieron Pollard and how he bats on Bangladeshi conditions and scores the big ones for the West Indies. Bangladesh will depend on Abdur Razzaq to get the wickets and win the game.
