    Default Allan Donald is the new bowling coach of New Zealand Cricket

    Allan Donald has accepted the offer from New Zealand Cricket to coach the Black Caps during the ICC World Cup Cricket 2011. He is now the bowling coach of New Zealand cricket on a short-term contract.

    Justin Vaughan, the chief executive of New Zealand Cricket, is very much delighted of his joining with Kiwi cricket teams. He thinks that Allan Donald’s experience will be an important thing for the development of New Zealand cricket team.

    Allan Donald will get John Wright as the head coach of NZ cricket team. John Wright was appointed as the main coach in December.

    May be, Allan Donald is thrilled for his return to international cricket with accepting the challenge of coaching.

    Former South African bowler, Allan Donald, recently finished his contract as the head coach of Mountaineers, one of the franchises of Zimbabwe domestic side.

    He has the experience of working with English county club like Warwickshire and England national team as bowling coach.

    It is expected to see him with New Zealand squad for the six-match ODI series starting from 22nd January 2011. He will be an important part when New Zealand will start their World Cup 2011 campaign against Kenya on 20th February.

    In his time, he was one of the best fast bowlers ever seen in Test cricket. Playing 72 Test matches, the 44-year-old picked 330 wickets at an average of 22.25.
