"Tees Maar Khan" copied from Peter Sellers' "After the Fox"???
Farah Khan might have set the trend of crafting richly entertaining film with her debut film 'Om Shanti Om', however, it's heard that the story of her next biggie, the Akshay-Katrina starrer 'Tees Maar Khan', is similar to 1966 funny Italian film 'After the Fox'.
Incidentally, in the classic Italian comedy film Peter Sellers play a crook, who smuggles lots of gold and later initiates a plan to keep the stolen goods in a small coastal village by telling the villagers that he is making a movie on gold smuggling operation.
Rumors are floating in B-town that Akshay's character is quite similar to Peter Sellers in the 1966 film 'After the Fox'.
It has now turned out that Farah's latest flick 'Tees Maar Khan' has quite distinctive traces of similarity to the Italian film, since Akshay plays a master conman, who contrives to escape from the policemen after stealing huge chunks of money and also tries fooling poor people.
