Tere Liye unit unaffected by new CINTAA rule?The buzz is that Balaji Telefilms' Tere Liye is one show that does not adhere to the new rules set by the CINTAA..
As per the new rule passed by the CINTAA (Cine and TV Artists Association), no unit member can work for more than 12 hours, and this includes actors of the television and Bollywood films.
While the actors in the telly land are very happy about this particular development, we hear that the unit of Star Plus and Balaji Telefilms' Tere Liye falls under an exception as they do not follow this rule.
Our source tells us, "There is no proper pack-up on the sets of Tere Liye, even after the working hours stipulated for the day is over. Even though few in the unit like the camera men, light men etc are changed after the 12 hour shift, the actors involved in the show never get a breather. They always end up working for more than 12 hours and are deprived of the liberty set by CINTAA. Even though there is a restriction to the number of shifts as per the CINTAA rule, it does not apply to the unit of Tere Liye".
When contacted, Anupriya Kapoor the protagonist of Tere Liye states, "Yes, it is true that we work bit longer. We work on shift basis, and the production house takes good care of the actors. So it is not an issue to work late"....being a human...
