Vote for Ash's best look in Robot/EndhiranFrom Barbie doll to princess, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan does it all in Endiran/Robot, Shankar's bilingual film in Tamil and Hindi releasing this Friday.
Some of the lavish budget, which was spent on the special effects (the film is touted to be one of the most expensive films till date), seems to have gone into the making of the clothes as well for Ash is seen in some very outlandish costumes.
We bring you nine that caught our eye. Fancy them or not? Judge for yourself and vote at the end of this slide show.
Ash in red
We think what the costume designer is going for here is a tribal-cum-Romanesque look. How else can one explain the toga tunic, gladiator sandals and feathers? Ash being Ash, she made the look work. Does she get your vote?
Ash in blue
From Roman princess to a tribal warrior princess. At least that's what this blue/silver/black ensemble topped by an elaborate headress looks like.
Ash in yellow
From the feathered headdress to the gladiator sandals, there's no doubt that this look is all tribal.
Ash in silver/black
In keeping with the film's title, Ash is dressed in a futuristic getup consisting of a silver foil-like breast plate with matching elbow-length gloves. A cool short do completes the modern look.
Ash in silver
Ash looks like a modern-day princess dressed as she is in this silver bustier and high ponytail.
Ash in electric blue
You got to hand it to Ash. Any other actress would have looked silly in this electric blue trench coat and absurd headgear. But Ash looks dashing in a very kitschy kind of way.
Ash in white
The Roman look makes a comeback, or shall we say Greek because she does look like a Grecian goddess in this cool white outfit.
Ash in black
The feathers are back, as Ash returns to the 'gladiator' look. And still looks smoking hot.
Ash in pink
"I'm a Barbie doll in a Barbie world," screams Ash's hot pink outfit. She's a doll, alright.
