Raaz...2 promises format change, more celebrities and more interesting cases
The shoot of the second season of Raaz Pichle Janam Ka starts by August 4.
In a new avatar this time, the format of the show has been changed to quite an extent. We spoke to the therapist Dr Trupti Jayin about the same and she says, "We have incorporated a few changes to make the show better. Like the set is shorter but the rest of the set-up remain the same. We are going to give a lot more importance to the subject this time. Their problems will be discussed in front of the audience so viewers get a lot more insight into what is happening but the process of regression remains the same. A major change is that of an introduction to the problem.”
In the last season celebrities like Karisma Kapoor, Rahul Mahajan and Neelima Azim were part of it and they went through the past life regression therapy but their episodes weren't used which will now be used for the second season. “The footage is the channel’s property and they have the right to use it. And, yes they might use it for the promos of the show to develop curiosity among the viewers."
It is Dr. Jayin who selects the celebrities as well as the common people to be on the show. So, will we see veteran actors like Rajesh Khanna and Manoj Kumar this time? "I cannot comment on that but I can assure you you will get to see a lot more celebrities this time than last. We are still in the process of finalizing the names. We have a number of empty slots and we are working on filling them with a few interesting cases."
There were talks that the show is ‘scripted’. Dr. Jayin explains, “Regression is a crucial process and it goes on for 40 to 45 minutes. We cannot show the entire process so we show a little of it and then it’s straight with me saying one, two, three. So, maybe that makes it look artificial but that isn't true. To know the process well you need to be present there."
The show this time promises an exciting season with both interesting celeb and non-celeb cases.
