The manger was subsequently suspended by the Madagascar football federation for three years, while SOE players Mamisoa Razafindrakoto, Manitranirinana Andrianiaina, Nicolas Rakotoarimanana, and Dominique Rakotonandrasana were suspended until the end of the 2002 season.
